it's been such a loooong time since i've last signed in!! i've been gone because of the fact i recieved a new job, ugh....at a telemarketing business, but it makes great money so i guess it's worth it...probably. well, i'm gonna get out some brand new drawings and bring out a great 4000+ pageview collab!! and i just want to say thank you all for helping me reach out the huge views of this gallery!! you are all awesome and just the best!!

i've just gotten back from watching Spike Jonze's newest film, Where the Wild Things Are, and i gotta say it was just fantastic!!
for any of you who read the children's book, you know the story: boy on a rumpus, boy gets mad at mom, boy sails an imaginary boat to the island of the Wild Things, boy becomes ruler, boy misses mom, and boy comes home. but from the revision of the film, it's not necessarily made for children audiences but for the adults that are children by heart. this film is so beautifully crafted into giving us the innocence of childhood that we once had in our lives and it does that perfectly. it speaks to us to when we were once wild and adventurous and to top it all off, the characters are just so wonderful and alive in spirit.
this film deserves some awards for it's efforts!!

it's your awesome pal bringing you a little not so much a of news news!!
i'm planning on submitting watercolour paintings later on this week and the result of why? well, i was wandering around on youtube to find some indie artists with their awesome music video arthouse and i came across Ladyhawke's video, My Delirium and i just thought to myself that this was awesome!! the animation was spectacular with so much vibrant details, you've could've sworn you're watching A-Ha's music video Take On Me but in colour!! after watching it, i was inspired to take another chance at doing watercolours again!! this is the first time in years that a music video gave me an idea to turn my drawing into a colourful watercolour segment!!

so i'll be buying paint brushes and start out the process!!
yay i'm excited!!

the week has been pretty good to me so far:
work is a breeze, you can't really complain as long as you get paid well. the soundtrack to the film Where the Wild Things Are just got released and i'm gonna buy it with my paycheck!! i'm super excited for the movie to come out too, i'll bet it's gonna be the best film of the year...i really think so since Spike Jonze is directing it!! <3

so pretty much, things are going pretty well except it's starting to freeze up a bit in Illinois!! brrrr!! i'm okay though, have the space heater on but i wish i had those futon tables with heating where it covers your whole body. i forgot what it's called but they have those all over Japan. helps to save money and energy. :3
